I still rate ATT U-verse a 10. I called them last Friday to make changes. I did have a verbal agreement with locked in price for 2 years in 2017. They have held to it.
I was 4 months shy of our 2 yr agreement, when I called ATT last Friday.
The trick is to talk to an American in the states, I have learned over the years. You have to use their Automated system using "OTHER" or repeating, "Loyalty Dept." That connects you to states side representative.
Anyway, I was able to talk to a Karen, who was most customer orientated as experienced in the past. I did have U Verse 450 and reduced to U300, w a substantial cost savings. I also eliminated our land line. I tried for the 2yr locked in price as before, but agreed to one year, instead. They kept me as a happy customer.
