That is correct e surging a nice the crossover goes to the speaker s and e bugging below to the sub. You can get holes with some wrongly settings but you are fine. The train for 80hZ being the pretty much standard is due to the fax t that or brains can't localize (determine directionality of frequencies below 80 hz so the bass seems as if it is enveloping you. Setting it at 220 may have directed some vocals or otherto your sub at times w which doesn't sound right.
