Did you know . . .

The lack of sales for the 1970 Chrysler 300H (just over 500) can be attributed to three things: First, it was not released in September 1969 with all the other new 1970 models due to a delay by Chrysler in green lighting the project. Second was the MSRP: $5,939 which was the most costly Chrysler outside of the Imperial line and last was a snafu on promoting the car. Chrysler thought Hurst would handle promotion while Hurst thought Chrysler would take care of it so neither did any promotions for the car. Dealers were not informed of the car. They only knew about it when one rolled off the car carrier at their dealership.
