Hi,

I've shot documentaries and just finished a pilot for a web series with a Panasonic Lumix GH1 which is a DSLR. One thing that people forget is that with most DSLRs, the viewfinder becomes inactive while shooting video, forcing you to use the LCD...but in bright light, LCDs are pretty much useless. The Lumix cameras are cool because they are true video cameras meaning that the viewfinder is electronic...so you can use it anytime you like.

Just a thought. I hope it's helpful.
