FiOS 1 news channel in NY
Yesterday at my mothers house in Bronx NY, I came across the brand new FiOS 1 local news. Although there isnt one for NYC yet, and whats being delivered to her is actually Long Island news, its got some cool stuff ! Definitely similiar to news12 and NY1 news. Im sure in the near future theyll have it for NYC... Ive also heard that NJ has FiOS1 now also. Along with covering local news, they do traffic and weather every ten minutes.
Keep a lookout for your local news, type in channel 1 or 501 from time to time!

I think 501 is the HD, I didnt notice if it was a true HD broadcast though

Fios 1
Broadcasters are an absolute joke ! ( case in point Stone Grissom)... Very low budget productions... Make News 12 look like a MAJOR NEWS channel ....

I just came across this thread while looking for more information on Fios 1 reporter, Hank Flynn. Does anyone know anything about him? How can I get in touch with him? The station doesn't seem to have a website so there's no bio information on anyone. BTW, I really like Fios1, in fact, I prefer it to News12. Besides being smitten with Hank Flynn, I think the news they cover is actual NEWS, not a bunch of happy crappy forced laughter BS.
