Default Maximum Fiber Run?

Is their a limit on how far the fiber can be run from the road to the ONT, and if not is their a charge on a long run? I have somewhere around 150-200 yards from me to the road.

I don't think there's a limit. I've heard of installs of 200 - 400 yards.

200 yards is nowhere close to the limitation of fiber runs... The run those puppies for miles like copper..

Sorry to pull this off topic, but when I saw this thread I thought that someone was having some problems with their 'plumbing' and was in desperate need of some fiber. It made me laugh, so I wanted to share that with you guys...

there is not a limit on the run...there is a limit on how far your service provider will run the glass...best to call and discuss with them
