DVR - Can deleted shows be restored?
I have a home media DVR, model Motorola QIP 6416. I accidentally deleted some shows and was wondering if there is a way to restore them.
I would imagine that since these boxes are really just storage devices, like hard drives, that there has to be a way. |

Unfortunately, no, there isn't. I don't know of a DVR on the market that has the ability to undelete something.

The TiVo HD can undelete. When you delete a file it moves the name to the deleted items folder. It holds the file on disk until the space is needed. If you deleted it accidentally you can recover it easily.

There must be some way to access the Motorola DVR. Smeone must know a hack of some kind....
