One last thing - has anyone in this area (SE PA) checked to see if analogs are officially gone? I haven't done that yet - but I believe today was the day listed on the last mailer I received from them.

Looks like analogs are starting to disappear in SE PA. Some folks have reported that their's are now gone. As of last night, mine were still on. I know they do this CO by CO, and SE PA is a big market (lots of COs), so I guess it'll take a little time to get 'er done.

Well here in Fort Wayne, In. everything was changed this morning when I woke up. Now I don't know where anything is. Oh well I guess I'll learn them again.

We in Southern California will be happy to trade you the inconvenience of learning the new channels now for our having to wait until the end of the rollout -- probably in October!

The roll-out started early this morning and the last time I checked a half-hour or so ago things were still a mess. I'm trying to stay away from things until all of the re-arranging is done. I've checked out a few of the new hd channels and of course there was quite a bit of sd content being broadcasted on them. These networks need to get on the ball! The Smithsonian and History Channel HD looks pretty good!

Alright, here is a list of the hd channels that were supposed to be added to the line-up but currently are NOT available. No idea if or when these will be working or added. Flipping through the browser it appears that some of them have been assigned a channel, some have not. Things are still a mess. The HD channels are all mixed in with the old music channel assignments.

TBS HD
ESPNews HD
CNN HD
MSNBC HD
Lifetime HD
Lifetime Movie Network West HD
MOJO HD
Starz Kids & Family HD
Starz Comedy HD
Starz Edge HD
Showtime West HD
Showtime 2 HD

BTW, for the Sci-Fi channel fans, do they actually offer anything in hd? Everytime I pass through it I see sd content. Haven't seen an actual hd show yet on that channel.

Just got the mailing with the new Channel Lineup pamphlet. Letter said 7/30/2008 for the change. Asterisk caveat "not all new channels will be available immediately" did not identify which were which.

Looks like the latest set of PDFs is up on the Verizon website. It also looks like: a) some of the PDFs have been updated to include corrections/new channels (e.g. mojo). b) this time they pushed them out to (all?) their webservers. Last week I couldn't see any new PDFs here at home, but at work I could (very odd). Here's the latest list:

6/30 Fort Wayne IN
7/21 Portland OR
7/23 New York
7/30 Northern NJ
8/06 Pittsburgh
8/13 Richmond VA
8/14 Hampton Roads VA
8/20 Massachusetts
8/21 Rhode Island

This is pretty close to the original list that someone put on dslreports, and which I replicated here - but it does have more markets put in there (there were some missing from that original list). If that original list holds, then the next one after RI should be our market - SE PA.

Where is Southeast Pa on the list? So far Fios has been a disappointment as they WOW you with all these promises but never seem to deliver. I've had Fios TV since March 2nd and I can't say its been a happy experience as of yet. Well the first month was cool then they balked on MLB Extra Innings which ticks me off.

I got a letter from Verizon today (I live in SoCal), stating the analog-to-digital conversion would happen sometime in September. This is seems to be inline with everything I have read. 2 more months to more HD!
