Does anyone else have this problem? I have several recordings setup to record and it is missing some of them. It seems like it misses the shows that are on back to back. I have it setup to record new and reruns and keep until deleted. I have a Motorola STB. I'm getting

If this is the Sunday night CBS senario [Cold Case & Dexter], nothing wrong with your STB. CBS consistently runs late on Sundays with golf, a 3 hour show or this week it was the Pope!!!!!!!! I am deleting all my late shows on Sunday nites. Repeats will happen sometime!!!!!!

No its not do to the show before running late. For ex. I DVR Wood Works, on DIY, (I think) and it will only record the first show and miss the 2nd. I also have problems with LOST, on ABC. It missed a few episodes already.

Default Not recording Shows

I have the same problem. All I can say is, its not a Tivo! There are some
controls that you can play with. I have gotten most of my shows to record!

I have had to go in and delete the series and set it up again and that seems to have worked. It is recording 98% of my stuff.

Yes I've had it record CSI-Miami late night broadcast instead of the normal run time. Go in and check your dvr settings and set them to your liking. For example, set them for first run only or anytime or any channel. There's about 5-6 recording options that might be messing things up for you. Each scheduled recording has it's own settings.

You got that right! I never had a problem like this with Tivo.

I had to do that with some shows also and that seemed to work. But I still have some shows being missed

I have checked that and rechecked and it still misses them sometimes

Is this a STB problem or a Verizon, software issue?

I had this happen. I had to delete it and set it up again and only choose the HD channel.

I had the same problem even had recordings with lost picture. Verizon hadmitted problems with dvr and did a signal boost or such and said you need to delete and start over. Working fine now. Just frustrating. Like a massive reboot or something. Good luck.

They are recorded in HD on my DVR. Might have to call Verizon like WAW suggested, but after messing with my record options it seems to be working fine. However, my one TV that is just using QAM keeps losing the signal and requires a re-scan almost daily! A real pain in the @!!!! Perhaps a signal boost is in order.
