I'm ordering my new service (switching from DirecTV to FiOS) and I don't see an option for the HD DVR, is there a known shortage right now?
http://www22.verizon.com/FiOSForHome...ntoptions.aspx Thanks for your help. |

They do not list it when ordering online but don't worry they do have them. All their DVR boxes are HD from what I understand. I called up with the same concern you have and they informed me that they do carry the HD-DVR but gave no real reason why it's not listed as an option when ordering online.
It's a Motorola HD-DVR. |

Their website is pretty pisspoor. I also had the same question about that. How hard could that have been to convey?
But basically, their boxes' capabilities are tiered. Standard. HD. DVR (which has HD). Multiroom DVR (which also has HD.) |

UPDATE: Got on the phone with them yesterday, got the HD DVR, 2 Standards and set it up for a 3/24 install. I bundled it with phone and internet. Sounds like a great deal. I'm taking the plunge from DirecTV who actually gave me good service, but the price is better, and I'm hoping the picture quality for both HD and SD will be better.
