Default Fios is FAST

Just upgraded to new FIOS speed. Getting 50 upload and almost 40 download. Very fast and consistent.

Yes, indeed it is. My switch was from an advertised "3 Mbps" DSL connection which was, in fact, never more than 1.6Mbps which was useless for streamed video.
I love my 25 Mbps up and down now. (Now if Netflix would only increase it';s supply of streamable movies, I'd be in Heaven.)

FiOS37, I think you have your Mbps numbers backwards. Download (TO your computer) is usually faster than upload (from your computer). Did you mean 40/50?

You are correct. I did have the numbers reversed. Sorry!

I have had some recent problems at night and often saw upload speeds FAR in excess of download.
For now the problem is fixed, thank heaven.
