Default Problems with DVR After 7/1 update?

Has anybody else had any problems with their DVR since yesterday's 7/1 update? I had an issue before the update came through where I'd try to play something and just get black screen.

Then it updated and seemed to be working again the rest of the day - (with the problem that some of the things that were recorded prior to the update were now playing in very soft mode - had to turn the volume WAY up). In any case, it seemed okay until this morning when I tried again, and all my recordings give me a black screen.

I can't quite explain all the issues I've had with uverse over the months that I've had it, frankly, they're lucky to still have me as a customer. I've had techs out 2-3 times in the past 3 weeks trying to diagnose random service drops - they've switched me to "low profile" permanently now (for the life of me I can't understand why low profile is the same price as high profile if you lose some of the service - like the 2nd HD stream). Even after they made this change, I constantly get an error on my browser saying that ATT has detected a router behind router and I have to resolve that issue using the process that ATT provides. I have 2 laptops that I use wirelessly, and one of them connects to the router for extended periods of time in only local use - but cannot connect to the internet.

Now the newest is the DVR. I'm probably going to just do a full reboot today (I'm not savvy enough to know anything else to do)- the router, then the TV's then the computers - and hope it solves the problem. But when you sit at home and have rebooted your system probably a total of 30-40 times over the course of the 6 months you've had the service....something tells me this won't work.

I just realized that probably not everyone had the update on 7/1, and it may have only been my area.

I thought it was something major since the whole look of the screen changed (the guide and everything) so for some reason I thought maybe everybody had it, but that seems highly unlikely.

Don't know what to tell you about the problem you're having. Hopefully the reboot helps.

The update is rolling out to all markets bit by bit. It should be everywhere by the middle of this month from what I understand.
