stream limit?
I hear that U-Verse limits to 2 HD streams. If I have 3 HDTVs, does this mean I can't go with U-Verse?

Does not mean you can't, just the three TVs will have to share the 2 HD streams as stated. If two TVs are watching the same stream (same program) that would count as a single stream, btw. I have three TVs myself, but with usually only two in operation at any given time. It is important to turn the STB that is not in use to standby to make sure no streams are being used by it.

Well I think U-Verse is out of the equation than. At night, I have 3 HDTVs being used. I also like the dual tuner HD DVR from Dish on the main TV which I don't think would work either with U-Verse
 . I really wanted to go with it do to internet speeds. I guess I'll get U-Verse internet and Dish TV when I move.

The Uverse DVR can record 4 shows at once and is accessible throughout the house.

As for using VDSL and Dish, is the area available for standard dsl? if it is VDSL would have to be Max12 or higher for an install without TV. Also there would be an install fee.

What is HD?

I just got U-verse installed and just got off the phone with ATT because I am only getting ONE HD stream because technician said I am 2500 ft from the box, therefore I can only get one stream. I am so upset because they marketed this with 2 HD streams!!!! this is nonsense. Does anyone have any other information?

There are plans to expand to more HD streams. Course that will only be available to customers who have a real strong signal.
