I have two questions as I am about to switch from Dish to ATT

1. I live in Kenosha, WI on the border of Illinois and I want to know if I get Comcast Sports Net Chicago with my service. I currently do wish Dish and my neighbors have it with Time Warner. The channel lineup does not state it but the salesman is trying to tell me that I get if I get the sports package. However usually when you purchase regional sports packages the proffesional games are blacked out.

2. There is a coupon code for $14.00 off a month for the 1st year. In addition it states that you get $200 cash back and a $25 gift card.
It does not state that they can not be combined. Seems to good to be true, what do you think. I would like to give the business to the guy at my door but he said he can't give that offer....

Well I got the answers to my questions this morning from AT&T.
Channel 741 Comcast Sports Net Chicago IS part of the standard package. This was confirmed by Phillip my over the phone rep. He called his tech support and made sure.

Phillip also honored the online offer and not only gave me the $200 cash back but also the $14.00 off per month. I am now getting more programming than I had with Dish and paying about $40.00 per month less on my combined services.

If this is any indication on how U-verse is going to treat it's customers than I am one happy camper. Hopefully the installation, service and picture quality will also exceed my expectations.

you got a heck of a deal. Make sure on your bill and through www.att.com/rewardcenter that those were honored. Those concessions are not supposed to be stacked. The 14 will just show on your bill as a credit. The rest of the monies you will have to wait a couple weeks after your install to go to the site and verify.
