Default AT&T U-verse Back Office Issues

I am having a conflict with the AT&T U-verse back office.

Late in August I attempted to sign up for AT&T U-verse bundle of TV, Internet and voice. I signed up for U-250 TV, Internet Pro and Voice 250.

Before the on-line transaction was complete, the process was halted and I was told to call their support number. The person on the phone completed the transaction and even assigned a phone number consistent with my wireless phone.

The equipment arrived but I could not access the network. I called tech support and was told that I would have to wait another four days to connect. No reason given.

After the four day delay when I could still not connect they sent a very helpful tech that got me up and running in no time. But my services had been changed and I was assigned a different phone number.

When my first statement arrived I was charged for services different from what I originally ordered. They had obviously dropped the ball in the back office. Also, there was no record of the $ 300 award card.
I did not record exactly what the prices, discounts and awards of my original order.

Does anyone remember the offers during August of this year?

Default Problem Solved

An AT&T "Social Media Manager" contacted me by telephone and within 15 minutes resolved all my issues and aligned the finances exactly in accord with my expectations.

I worked through the AT&T U-verse Community Forum to establish this contact.
