Default Pixelation, stutter & pausing

Has anyone else had problems with Uverse pixelating, stuttering & pausing shows? In the past week, we cannot watch live or recorded shows without the shows stuttering or pixelating which used to happen on our Directtv but this is the first time it's happened with Uverse. We have restarted the system, but it did not help and it is so aggravating you can't watch anything!! Anyone know what the fix is?

I just ran into this two nights ago. My internet speed had also dropped considerably. Restarting my DVR did solve the problem of the pixelization though. It's possible they were simply having some network issues as it cleared up last night.

But as L2W stated, I would give them a call and let them know of the issues you're having.

Have you tried power cycling the DVR? I had that happen once with a scheduled recording. After doing the powercycle, it was fine and the show played normally.

I started having the issue about 2 weeks ago. I found by unplugging the RG (modem) for 30 seconds it would go away for a while. It finally got to the point that I would have to do the RG reset every day or more, so I called ATT for service. The came out and replaced the RG about three days ago and so far the issue is fixed. The service tech said he is switching out several that are about 2 years old, all doing the same thing.

Definitely call ATT and get a service call.
