Default Total Home DVR

What model is being installed at the moment in Riverside, CA? Are they basically installing the larger capacity DVR?

I am not sure of your market, but how it works in mine is if you do not get HD you get the smaller DVR, if you are subscribing to HD right away you get the larger DVR

I'll be hooking up 3 HD TV's.

Also, when you go to the guide and it shows a little screen with what's playing, is it really pixelated or crisp and clear like on DTV? I was in an AT&T store the other day checking out the U-verse and wasn't impressed with the picture quality of the preview when in the guide.

Could you tell us how to check what size the DVR is?

Sacramento, CA area..... Uverse tech just swaped my smaller (Mot. VIP 1600 DVR) for the larger hard drive unit, model nbr. VIP 1225 DVR.... I guess that would designate the larger unit.

Lucky you... call center told me it would be a $100 charge for them to come swap the DVR out...

Yes, but..... I was having a constant reboot issue with the old unit so the service call was legit. I just "happened" to request a larger hard drive unit and complained about the existing one's space. She liked me I guess and......
