Come on now. @ Cleveland, @ Detroit, and @ St. Louis totals like half a road game, tops. So NO still has had more road games.

Oh yeah, 6-0 > 7-1.

You remember how sucky New England's 18-1 record was v NY's record.

Lets look at the wins:

New Orleans:

Detroit 1-6
Philly 5-2 Leads Division
Buffalo 3-5
NYJ 4-4
NYG 5-3
MIA 3-4
Combined record 21-24

Minn:

Cleveland 1-7
Detroit 1-6
San Fran 3-4
GB 4-3
St Louis 1-7
Bal. 4-3
GB 4-3
Combined record 18-33

So I really have no idea how anyone could call Minn the best NFC team.
That's what ive been sayin. Not saying the Vikings are bad, the Vikings are a very good team but the Saints are better.

Gotta admit,,,Brees looked sharp last night. The Falcons put up a good fight but Brees was tossing some screamers.

I sure don't see it. NO was lucky to beat a terrible team Sunday. NO has played more of last year's playoff teams and that means something?

Brett Favre is the top rated quarterback in the league now and has the best touchdown to interception ratio.

I knew someone would ring in this week with Minn's superiority. That big win over the Lions must have did it. It looks like some tougher games ahead so you guys better get it out now. I'm predicting the Vikings go 4-3 the rest of the way. Let's see how far off I am.

This week?!?

Nobody "new" on this thread... Same group liking the Vikes & Favre that liked them when this thread started back in August... So far, it's looking like Favre has worked out pretty well for them I'd say. Sure is performing better than Vick has when he's had the ball~

Did he lose his '97 ring or something? I did read that Robert Horry was missing his, too.

I'm not going that far LOL. You take Mr. Stud Peterson out of the lineup and Minn might be a .500 team. I'll still give Brett some credit if he can get though the playoffs. Brett has always been stellar in the regular season, playoffs, not so much. Oh yeah, that one time.

Well considering the Vikes weren't a Super Bowl contender and have never won a Super Bowl, I wouldn't be the only one saying that if it came to pass.

I haven't noticed an unusual drop off in the playoffs though. But you have to take into account that QBs probably don't put up as good numbers in the playoffs since the defenses they face are obviously better, generally speaking.

According to that link, Favre's playoff QB ranking is only 0.7 lower in the playoffs, which is negligible.

The Vikes have everything in place to win the SB - except the defensive secondary. If they don't improve in the back,,,QB's like Brady and Manning will tear them up. Unless wild man Allen has a good day. He gives QB's the brown stripe.
