So what's the latest on a stadium deal in L.A.? And if the Rams do stay in St. Louis, which is the likeliest scenario, which teams to you think L.A. might be able to lure? I've heard Jacksonville mentioned as a possibility.
Ed Roski (the developer) has cleared the legal hurdles in getting the construction set for the new stadium. This was huge, and it just happened last month. The NFL was very pleased with the progress he has made.

Now we just have to find an owner who wants to move their team. The front runner is actually San Diego because they are on a year-to-year agreement with Qualcomm stadium. The other teams are Jacksonville, Minnesota, St. Louis, Buffalo, and Oakland. Those are the six teams that come up in every conversation.

The goal is to have a team in Los Angeles by the 2011 season. There were even reports of Los Angeles getting a team by next season (2010) and have them play at another location (ie; Rose Bowl, LA Coliseum) while the new stadium is being built. I do not think that will happen, but the sooner the better for me.

We will not get an expansion team, that much is clear. So it's up to another owner to to make the move to Los Angeles.

If I could choose one team NOT to have it would be Oakland. I didn't like them when they were here (I'm a Rams fan!), and their home games was like walking in a gang zone. I would love to have the Rams back, but I'll be good with any team. I just want a team in my city!

He's not the problem, I agree. No matter what though after a season start like this you know they are going to cut some heads. They should start by benching some players also.

Well, good effort by the Rams against N.O. yesterday, came up short though.

Am I dreaming, or did I see that the Rams are going to be the national broadcast next week against the Cardinals???
