IF the Raiders stick with that number 3 pick and West Virginia's QB Geno Smith is there is that the route you would like to see the Raiders go or is there somebody else in mind of course that is if they don't trade down.

nah, no QB in the 1st rd. we need serious oline/dline help. Hell, we need a ton of help defensively, as a whole. If this year were last year, I'd say yes, with that draft class. But i'm not sold on any of the so called 1st rd QB prospects this year.

We currently have no 2nd rd pick (Palmer trade) or 5th rd pick (Curry trade). I'd love for them to trade down from #3 and pick up additional picks to try and fill those two voids.

I think that would be smart what you said for the Raiders to do I think Gino Smith is going to be overrated as will be other quarterbacks now that these rookie quarterbacks the last 2 seasons have had such great first year stats and success

I'm not even sure Gino Smith's stock is as high as the #3 pick anymore. That offensive system scares me.

They have Geno #1 & the Raiders getting Lotulelei a guy I know nothing about.
I would LOVE for this guy to be right on the Steelers getting Notre Dames Manti Teo......I also think that even though Geno may be overrated those 2 WR's, Bailey & Austin, will be great.

But the more I see this group of guys in the draft I think any team picking high like the Raiders may be smart to move down for extra picks cause there is no Andrew Luck or RG3 to take the guess work out of it this year imo.

I don't know about that guy anymore. He is an offensive genius to a degree but his skeem is too complex and takes soo long for many to to grasp completely. And if you don't have a good O-line you QB is going to be choppered off the field. But if they put the right pieces in place and have the patience, could work out very well.

Boy was he a disaster is Chicago... But so was the O-line...

But now we have a fucking Canadian coach to fix all that.

Yeah.. To stand tall and block.. The Bears got rid of 1 of the best young receiveing TE's because of Martz (for basically nothing)... And then he was canned 2 years later.. Awesome!!!

Yeah, I couldn't believe they got rid of Olson for peanuts. Dude's basically a big frame wide receiver.. I thought Martz would've loved to have him as an optoin.

Nope.. TE's are for blocking only. 99% of Martz's 7000 playes he has the TE pitches a tent. That is why he ran Olsen out of town. He could not block well and rarely touched the ball. Then they replaced him with a TE that could not catch or run a route and blocked just as bad.. Mad perfect sense to me..

Now that the Bears actually have a wide receiver, he would of been a great 2nd or 3rd option. The 2 TE's the Bears had last season were absolute garbage.. See ya Lovie. Wish he would have taken his TE's and most of the O line with him..

I can't believe Martz would be the choice. Just can't. Just read yesterday that Norv was contacted early in the process, and said he wasn't interested. I would have loved to have him back as OC.

My choice as it stands is Chan Gailey. Good offensive mind and good offensive coach. Plus, I think his HC'ing days are over (in the NFL anyways), so it looks as though he could be a long term answer.
