wow...I am shocked at the results of the final poll 37-36 NE. Sure would be nice if the score of the game is that close.
But I would have guessed before it started that NE would have gotten 80% of the votes. Oh well. Good Luck to both fans of the teams tonite.

I suspect that most of the Giants picks in this poll represent which team folks want to win versus which team should win.

Good luck to both.

New York will need more than luck and I think the team has used up its allotment of luck just getting here.

While New England has used up its allotment of luck by not losing up till now. This game will be close, and NE is already 4-0 in games decided by 4 points or less. Time to lose New England. Time to lose.

And 14-0 in games decided by margins greater than 4, the odds are this one will mean New England ends the season with 15 wins by margins greater than 4. New England routed most teams and set all-time NFL records with such a dominating performance, a lot of records. If is funny that a team can so thoroughly dominate the league and somebody can find some meaningless statistics and try to highlight that. That is like saying Roseanne Barr has a cute dimple on her left knee when she is competing in a beauty contest with Halle Berry. I would have loved for the NFC to have provided competition for the AFC in this Super Bowl, but it just didn't happen this year. New England is good enough to make it back next year, although that is never easy and having the team stay healthy is never easy but hopefully the NFC can send a better representative next year.

I am encouraged by Randy Moss's professional conduct this season and all of his hard work. Another year like this from him would do a lot for his Hall of Fame chances, probably guarantee it. I am not a Patriots fan, nor a Randy Moss fan, but a great year is a great year. I didn't expect anything like this from him.

Chris

New England looked dominating in the first half of the season, but since then have only beaten two teams in a dominating fashion and one of them was the Dolphins, and I wouldn't even count that one.

Face it, New England isn't the scary team of September and October. The Giants surely aren't scared. How teams have played in recent weeks is more important than how they played 3 months ago, and New England looks like just another beatable team that has lucked out in 3 or 4 games. Sometimes the coin comes up tails and I look for a Giants to win in a close game.

One of the best SBs of all time. That near-sack and miraculous catch will forever be burned in the minds of NE fans. Congrats to the Giants...what a season!

That play will be compared to the Franco Harris catch over 30 years ago.
