The point I was making about Rodman was that it was not so much his talent on the court that brought him fame and fortune but more his questionable behavior and antics that brought attention to him. I dont blame him, he saw an opportunity to capitalize on the media attention and he laughed all the way to the bank.....

by the way who do you draft 1st....? I believe all played during the Rodman Era...
Larry Bird
Magic Johnson
Kareem abdul Jabbar
Dr.J
Michael Jordan
Akeem
Charles Barkley
Scottie Pippin
James Worthy
Clyde the Glide
there are numerous others I will neglect to mention....

or ....Dennis Rodman....you won the lottery you pick

Well my all time fav player is Bird so of course he would be my first pick.
But to put Rodman in a fantasy draft with 10 other people who are all hall of famers isn't a fair comparison. those guys you mentioned are all around superstar players, Rodman was a specialty player, his job was to rebound and play defense. So, if I was to draft a player purley looking for a rebounder/defensive specialist..Rodman would be my man.

BTW, Dr.J retired in 1986, Rodmans rookie year.

im not sure how anyone can judge the NBA without actually watching it personally i think there's too many colleges in america that make it hard to follow just one in particular also u can't really follow a player thats talented because he'll be gone to the NBA after 1-4 seasons IMO those reasons make the NBA better than college hoops

NBA doesn't hold a candle to NCAABB, but that is my opinion as well.

Nope, give me March Madness over any other sport at any time of the year. Don't get me wrong, I love the NBA, but nothing beats March Madness and the passion those guys put out on the court.

In College, it's all about team ball, in the pro's it's who has the best talent.

There must not be no Trail Blazer fans on this forum or somebody would be doing some serious gloating.

They started 6-12 & are 18-2 since. Brandon Roy is turning into a superstar & Lamarcus Aldrige isn't far behind. Plus Travis Outlaw is having a career year. And just think how scary they would be if they had Greg Oden this year.

I don't know if they are ready to take down the Spurs or Mavs in a playoff series yet but the future sure looks bright in Portland.

Default What has happened to the Spurs???

What has happened to the defending champs, the Spurs?

They started out 17-3 & now have went 11-13. I know they have had a few injuries but I believe everyone was healthy verses Seattle who had lost 14 in a row before beating the Spurs last nite.

I personally don't like the Spurs but I would have never dreamed they would struggle like this as they usually play very solid all around basketball every nite.

I'm not sure what's up w/ the Spurs, their roster is essentially the exact same.. just a year older.
I'm just glad the Sonics finally got a win!!

The Spurs are basically the same team except a year older. Bowen, Duncan, Finley and Horry are getting old. Furthermore Ginobli and Parker play very inconsistently which makes team chemistry rather fragile. They always flick the switch though by March so I'm sure they'll show up as expected in the playoffs. Hopefully the Lakers can put them down if they face each other.
