From the title, I thought this might be mainly about some trick that FOX could have used in their HD broadcast. Turns out it was mainly about the race. They mentioned that if the race isn't good, even watching in HD won't keep fans from changing the channel. I'm not a racing fan, but I tuned in ONLY BECAUSE it was in HD.

p.s. I'm almost to the point where I'd watch opera in HD if they had Dolby 5.1 with it.

I've gotten "CatMan" and "Cat", so I guess it's just a matter of time before I get just plain "Doo".....

Fortunately, the NCAA tourney with 39 games in HD over the next 3 weeks will keep me from opera also. Enjoy!
