Ya and I guess hoser is a derogatory remark cus in the old days te losing team had to hose down the ice LOL. We see him as a person now not just as a Canadian LOL.

Where were they at?

Spring training in Florida?

I loved it and learned something new I didn't know, where the term "hoser" came from. LOL

I am guessing it was Florida it would make sence wouldn't it LOL. I love the HOSER connotation it was hilarious.

It sure looked like Florida, palm trees everywhere.

On my island of Anna Maria, probably 66% of all the trees are Palm trees. Seven miles of sugar white sandy beach and Palm trees, Heaven on earth (it's been in the 80's for the last week or so).

Tough place to live, that is why half the winter population is from Canada I suppose.

Ya all our old folks head down there for the winters after they retire. We head to Disney World in Dec for 2 weeks with teh kids and that is enough of the heat for me. We were down in May one year actually in 05 and it was way to damn hot and humid for me.

That sounds nice otis...where is this actually at? I mean obviously you said Florida but Im not familiar with were your at. I inquire cause me and the family vacation in the Keys a few times a year but were always looking for a new place...where would your location be relative to the Keys?
