A 45-50 game season is pretty lame. Whoever wins this year is a papper champ IMO.. Unless it is the Hawks of course.
 This season should be scrapped.. And this is comming from a HUGE hockey fan.

I'm just excited to be able to watch again. Missed hockey.
Whoever wins the cup this year, I'll still consider them champs. 48 games isn't too bad considering how late of a start they're getting.

I knew this would happen - we get the all star game in Ohio and then there is a lockout and therefore no all star game. Now that has passed so they put on the rest of the season. 48 games or not, very few things beat playoff hockey so hopefully the pens can make a run this year and I'll catch a game.
In other related news rthe Lake Eire Monsters (Av's farm team) here has been routinely drawing 11-12,000+ fans !

I'm not gonna lie, I'm excited about hockey being back but I am jaded a bit and not sure if I'll tune into a single game this season in protest.

Oh baby.... I can't wait to see datsyuk do that in the NHL again. Its even better when he does stuff like that during the game and not just a penalty shot Lol. He never stops amazing me and I'm glad he's on my side haha
