How do you respond to a sports question ?

What's the best way to respond to a sports question or just a conversation about sports that you know nothing about? Without letting on that you know very little about it.

Yeah I never could get into that. But it does look nice in HD. What makes nascar so lame is that they just make left turns

I love to watch them play Curling! I wish we could get that Canadian sports chanel on D* so I could watch it more often than every 4 years.

If you accept Chess as a sport then Rapid Chess is also a sport. It is just a variation of Chess game where skill of the player is tested even further with time limits. Sport can be a game or an activity where an individual combines skill with physical or mental exertion while competing against opponents.
Hurling is also a sport. It is slightly different from hockey. All you need is a group of people to invent and play a game. It will be accepted as a sport and gain popularity only if there is a fan following, just like basketball did.
