Default MINNESOTA VIKINGS,,yes

Oh yeah,,,it be about that time of year again. Time fer some slobberknocking, knee kajerking, dickaripping, ground in yer face FOOTBALL. Just to get the ball rolling,,to all you non-VIKING fans, me wishes you the best of (hic) luck, pitting your best against THE best. With a Favre, Peterson, Gerhart backfield,,,me only wish is that you lose gracefully!!!!!! Sorry about the smack talk,,,just gitting scritchy fer some football!!!!!@!

I hear ya oblio, my Redskins should be upgraded with McNabb behind the wheel, but the Haynesworth fiasco is a downer though.

Who's gonna QB the Vikes this year? Is Favre coming back or not?

Damn Haynesworth kind of pisses me off. If he had any sort of work ethic he would be the beast of beast's. Shanahan should bench his ass,,even if he can get past training camp. Somehow Haynesworth think's the team is not a team without him. Haynesworth hunger is not for the game but for the money. Sad.

Favre,,hell yeah he'll be back. Don't see him having a season like last year but he is surrounded by weapons. Peterson, Gerhart, Shiancoe, Harvin,,,not to mention one hell of a defense. We get to play NO right out of the gate - you can bet their will be some grudge going on!!!! Hell Yesssss,,,,it's almost football time again!!

Yup...that's the crux...great regular season, but can they finally get to the big game and win it. I sure as hell hope so...I'm getting older and would like to see my Vikes crowned champs.

You're in luck O. Favre has confirmed he's coming back.
Reports: Brett Favre plans to retire

After the Vikings completed a morning practice, Childress would not confirm Favre's status with the team and called it a "fluid situation."
That's my take on it as well.

Blip in the road. The Vike's will dangle some dollars,,Favre will play the diva role,,retire, un-retire,,,me guess is that he will come back if for anything - one game - to beat the Saints in their opener. One game is all me asks. Last year was his best, other than winning the SB. And he was one pass,,,one fricking interception in an overtime game, to getting into another SB. He knows the team is there. He knows he won't have to play every game. He knows what he can or cannot do. He'll be in uniform. He loves the game. All me would like to see is one game,,beat the Saints,,then retire.

Does anyone know when the ESPN special is going to be? "Brett, what's your decision..."

Don't laugh, that's even money betting on that.

As a MN resident, I plead to ESPN, Startribune, KSTP, CCO and all the other news outlets: Please let me breath. I can't take it anymore. Is he coming back. Is he not coming back. Please. I beg of you. Give me a simple break. Because only last week, you ran stories of Lindsey Lohan and her cell mates. I feel like my brain is going to explode from all this stupidity that is in the 'news'.

I enjoy my Sunday afternoon football just like the next guy but we've not even started the season yet, and all day, every hour, that's all I'm hearing-Brett Favre rumors.

Is this what Cleveland had to go through? If it is, then we are in for a long month here in Minnie.

Please ESPN. Please WCCO. All you news outlets in town. I know sports serves as a break from reality, but the fact is, we have more pressing issues to deal with as a state and as a nation. Obama just said more people will lose jobs before they get jobs. Our government is looting our economy. We've just lost the most soldiers in Afghanistan in years. Now we have carriers parked off the Caspian Sea ready to strike Iran.

This is going to effect you and me 1 million times more than whether or not Brett Favre comes back or not.

People simply need to understand that.

Yes he is & the great thing about it for Vikings fans is you have went from an average team to a Super Bowl contender even if Favre doesn't play as well as last year.
I say that because I feel like the Vikings have -0- chance of contending with Tavaris or Sage back there as they just stink. But with favre back & the great depth they have at RB with the addition of Toby Gerhart plus their great defense they will again be tuff to beat.

Good Luck!

Well the Vikings are a good team but like mentioned they have a hard time in the playoffs. That being said I wish Brett would stop holding the team hostage every year. It has to be about him all the time and it should be about the team. They had to send a couple of players down to convince him to play and that is not good. Oh well the point is moot anyway because the Pat's are going to win it all this year anyway.....GO PATS.......
