First off let me start by saying that you have some of the most spectacular speakers available, and exceptional equipment (TV, receiver, HD-DVD player, CD player etc.)kudos to you.

Now, from what I see, your center channel is in a really bad position and by moving it, that would be using it as a TV stand on a shelf (get a new TV shelf/stand and get rid of that entertainment system) you will dramatically improve imaging, dialog and overall sound, both music and voices. You have some of the finest sounding speakers available and it's a shame you are not hearing them at their full potential. That center speaker should be at about ear level or just below.

You also need some room for your other electronic equipment so I would suggest that you get one of those nice glass shelf TV stands with 3 shelves. Put the center speaker on the top shelf, place the TV on top of the center speaker, then arrange all of your other equipment on the lower shelves.

Do you have any surround speakers like the ADP390's? And if so, where are they placed in the room and are they at ear level (I hope)?

What subwoofer do you have?

Loves2Watch is right
the speakers should be in a better position
You could also get a wall bracket to mount your TV a little higher. I heard that monoprice is a good place to buy a tv wall mount. For the price they do just as good of a job.
You could install a bracket shelf for the center speaker under the TV. and place you equipment in a cabinet under that.
Looks like your running out of dvd storage so you could put that unit you have in the corner or to the side.
I'm a chef and I know how important it is to make the food look appetizing as well as taste good. The same, in theory, applies here. I think you'll enjoy it even more.
bon appetite!

Killer Digms, Dave! If there is a speaker envy, I am stricken with it.

As far as ideas, I think L2W nailed down a solid point with the addition of a 3 level stand. The front stage really could use such an item and I am certain you will like the results.

Other than that...and if those speakers were mine...I would be looking at something from B&K to really power those Paradigms up.

Thanks for the pics, Dave.

I got a new stand today, the centre channel has the t.v sitting on it now and is line with the mains, WHAT A DIFFRENCE!!.. I am going to be picking up a new audio stand this weekend as well as a new sub, probably the servo 15, I picked up the denon 3808ci last week and it kicks my ass how much improved the sound is compared to the 3805, my surrounds are adp 190's and are at 3 feet above ear level, I think at least I got that right lol. Will update ya with new picks soon. Thanks for all the helpful advice and comments, Much appreciated!!!

Way better
Does it sound any better with the center more at ear level?
You're probably getting blasted with sound anyways it's set up.

First off let me say you have some very nice equipment there. Second off you have invested a lot of money in that home theatre setup but fell short in the organizing department. It looks too messy to me. If it were me I would consider building a nice custom set up for all that beautiful gear

I could not agree more. And exploiting those fine speakers to their optimum potential can give you the greatest improvement imaginable.
Sad to say, speaker alignment and room treatments are typically the two most neglected components of all.

That's the giveaway that he must be single

Nice setup though - just needs some nice furniture to organize it all.

a 42/50 inch tv will be a killer addition. I would suggest to hide subwoofer from front to corner of room this will give symmetry to you L/R speakers relative to the center cabinet. you could browse through the picture gallery in the forum to get some idea about furniture and how to place them.
