Default 5.1 VS. 7.1 Setup Help

Hello all, well my pride and joy have arrived and I'm about ready to setup everything.

I have the Onkyo 875 receiver and a nice set of 5.1 speakers. I live in an apartment at the moment so 5.1 is about all I have room for.

On the setup info all the illustrations show a 7.1 setup. There are ofcourse the 3 fronts with the sub and then the two "Surround lefts & rights" and the two "surround back left & rights." My couch is up against the wall so I'm assuming I go with the non-back surround setup. Is this correct? If anyone owns the 875 will it ask me if I have a 5.1 during setup? As always thanks for any suggestions or advice.

Yes, do not use the surround back. Make sure in the Onkyo setup that you tell it you have no speakers in the back as well. Then the Audessey auto setup will work correctly.
