Center Speaker Placement?

I have a 5' tall projector screen, should I place my center surround speaker above (1' from the ceiling) or below (1' from the floor)? Thanks in advance!

The lower position would probably be better but in either case, make sure to aim the speaker directly at the listener in the sweet spot (tilt upwards).

Thanks for your advice. Does it matter that it will be 4' lower than the front L & R?

As long as the sound arrives to the listener at the same point as the fronts (hence the aiming), it should be OK.
