I'm building a new house and plan to wall mount my plasma in bedroom. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced 2.1 system with upconversion DVD where I can mount the speakers on the wall. Thanks in advance.

have you considered "in-wall" speakers and the possibility of a 3.1 system ? I have used the Dayton brand of in-wall kevlar coned speakers from www.partsexpress.com and have been very satisfied with the results. By using a conventional 5.1 a/v receiver and L-C-R speakers with a subwoofer, you will get 90% of the home theater experience with Dolby or DTS, while a 2.1 system will not perform as well in that environment.
