Hi guys,
I have been searching the net for help concerning this issue and no luck not so ever. I have a Sharp LC46D83X tv and a LG HT903WA surround system. The LG logo of the HT903WA used to appear using any option (USB,IPOD,DVD,etc..) in RGB mode. I changed the option to 1080 option and the problem occurred. Screen disappeared and cannot see the LG logo at all in any of the inputs within the surround system. Using the TV other inputs such as foxtel, PS3, etc.. It works fine. Troubleshooting done: I changed TV inputs = fail Reset TV settings back to default = fail I changed the HDMI cable with the PS3 cable = fail I unplugged power for at least 30 mins from the LG surround system = fail I used a RCA cable directly plugged into tv = fail I have a dvd/cassette player plugged into the tv which works fine, i used one of the inputs to plug the LG surround system into and it still failed. It goes like this: LG surround system RCA cables goes into input 1 of dvd/cassette player, then dvd/cassette player goes into tv, tv picks up the dvd/cassette player but does not pick up input 1 which is where the LG surround system in plugged into. I plugged a TV tuner into input 1 in the dvd/cassette player, works fine. I am desperate for help and as you can see, i tried nearly everything possible to solve issue, someone please help. Keep in mind, that I cannot change any settings within the LG surround system as there is not picture available at all. When HDMI cable is being used and input for the LG surround system is selected, it does not display any errors as no signal found, etc... It actually shows 1080 display but it is a totally blank black screen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks heaps. Last edited by Aloosh; 08-01-2010 at 01:00 AM. |
