Default What can I purchase to change from 5.1 to 9.2 surround system??

How do I build a 9.3 surround sound system with 150” screen reasonably starting from a 5.1? Sorry so long.
We have wait to upgrade every 3 months or so, but our problem is that we are retired and our sound/electronics/entertainment budget leaves us with only about $350 every three months or about $115 every month for improving our 5.1 surround system. Our game plan is to upgrade our system every 3 months until we get to a projector setup with a screen size of 150” diagonal (10’ x 7.5’). Our theater/great room is 21 square foot room and we presently have a Samsung BluRay and Samsung 8000 series LED TV. To enjoy immediately we started with a SLS/ 6.1 Sherwood Receiver 600 watts with the SLS Q-Line Gold Speakers system with a 200 amp sub which fit in our fall budget ($355 than). What great sound from these 15 Kevlar/ribbon speakers which we are enjoying now- male and female singing voices really clear, but our Game plan was to eventually to use four of the great little SLS speakers for upper right/left fronts and upper right/left rears for the 9.3 system since we only have about 6” space over the two 8’ bi-fold closets doors in the rear of room and same 6” height over the two front 7’ wide windows. Here is our initial game plan on possibly how to get to projector and screen of 150” with a 9.2 surround sound system by April 15th 2011 without having to sell things on Ebay/Craigs list or using credit cards.
Any recommendations appreciated on what to buy and when??
2010 Jan-Mar Quarter($350 is our limit).
Move the front SLS speaker to a rear center channel and make our system a 6.1.
Question 1. Upgrade the front main speaker to what? Can this speaker be put behind and play through the 10’ x 7.5’ (automatic pull down) screen when installed??
Question 2. What front speaker would be best for our $350 budget?
Question 3. How wide of a sound broadcast(e.g. 90 degrees?, 120 degrees?, 150 degrees?) does the recommend speaker have??
The greater the better so the sweet spot is larger so more people can hear all the affects.
April-Jun 2nd Quarter($350 is our limit unless we did not use all above funds).
Add a new sub-to make a 6.2 system. The present 200 amp SLS sub fills the room, but we could move SLS sub to back of room to fill behind us.
Queston 4. Add What new front sub-possibly a 12” woofer- best sub for the money?
2010 July-Sept. 3rd Quarter($350 is our limit) 6.2 system still.
Add new front left and right speakers. Note: front windows start at 4’ height. Now pack up 2 of the SLS speakers until we get the new receiver.
Question 5 What front left/right speakers are the best for $350 budget?? Degrees??
2010 Oct.-Dec. 4th Quarter($350 is our limit) 6.2 system still.
Add new side surrounds. Note: have only 16” above the 4’ hickory paneling behind our sofas to our 5’4” knee walls which go up on a 40 degree pitch to the ceiling to place the side speakers. Pack up the other 2 side SLS surround speakers until we get the new receiver.
Question 6. What side speakers are the best for $350 budget and will fit in the 16” height space?? Degrees?
2011 Jan.-June 5th + 6th Quarter($700 is our limit) 9.2 system WOW now a 9.2 system.
Use the 4 SLS Q-Gold Line speakers for the upper rears and fronts.
Question 7. What receiver to use for the 9.2 system???
Note: Hoping the Denon AVR-4810 cl 9.3 goes on sale right after the 2011 New Year from its $2000+ price now. Possibly may be in the range of $700 or under since new models will be out or maybe other new receivers available at that time. Latest thing than probably be 13.2 etc.
Possible total cost for the 9.2 surround system with the SLS system and above new great speakers under $2500 by waiting 1.5years for the 9.3L receiver.
April 15th, 2011- TAX RETURN to buy 1080P projector and screen.
ALL THE HELP IS APPRECIATED IF THERE IS A BETTER GAME PLAN. I was looking at the Axiom Q8s for the rears but they will not fix in the 6” height space.
2011 Oct.- Dec. to buy additional 5.1 speaker system for master bedroom. Buy an additional SLS Q-Gold Line Speaker System for $280 ($350 is our limit). Use the SLS/Sherwood 8601 Receiver in our master bedroom and the one left over front SLS speaker from above and make it a 6.1 system there and move the Samsung LED TV in there. Trying to buy one thing at a time and make our money account the first time. Give away the old analog 38” Zenith TV from the master bedroom. My game plan is to listen to the speakers you recommend and buy the ones that sound the best to our ears. Believe it or not the SLS speakers sound great-very crisp and clear. Thanks everyone for replying.
