I'm looking to get a pair of active noice-cancelling headphones, and I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions. Are there any specific brands I should consider/avoid? Any specific models that are good?

I can't really afford anything too expensive, so something at the lower end of the price range that is still a respectable product would be ideal (if this is even possible). Basically, anything under $100 would be nice.

Let me know what you think!

Audio Technica ATH-ANC7b noise canceling headphones are a full size, over-the-ear model that work quite well. They compare very favorably against the over-priced, highly advertised models. If you watch for sales, you can come very close to the price you want.
