Looking for alternatives to the Sony HT-CT500 Soundbar

Sony HT-CT500.

I love the way this thing connects. Very simple compared to other sound bars. My in-wall HDMI wiring is minimal now with this setup! And it's because the brains are in the subwoofer, not the center speaker. And, I don't have to provide power to the center speaker! I found one really slick soundbar, but it had a DC power supply, like you use with a laptop!!? How the heck would I conceal that on a fireplace mantle??

Anyways, I really like the way this sony is set up. No idea how it sounds though But the wiring, HDMI switching, upconverting, audio, video, everything is done in the subwoofer which will be located 1ft from all my components. Very convenient!

Are there any other products on the market that wirre like this one? All the other ones I've seen wire into the soundbar, or have a little receiver that you have to wire into, don't upconvert, etc etc...

This sony seems to have it all! But I would like to see what other options/brands are out there. Yamaha? Onkyo? Klipsch?

Any help would be appreciated. Also any product opinions would be appreciated too. How does it sound?? It's impossible to get a good feel in a retail big-box store...
