1080 Upscale DVD on 720 TV
I have XD E-500 Toshiba DVD and Sony KDS55A2000 whick I am very happy with. Son just purchased Sammy PN50B450 which is 720.
What happens if you use 1080P upconvert DVD, or Blue Ray for that matter on 720 TV ? Does anyone know if there is new model for XD and what the diff are. Thanks-Joe |

Many BD players and UC DVD players will allow you to set the resolution (720p or 1080i/p). If not, you TV will simply down convert the 1080p sorce to its native resoltion. In yor case, 1366x768 (768p) and will still reap the rewards of BD/HD..
