Electrohome EH8181
I have the above dvd player and I have it set to progressive scan output through component cables. I have a 32 inch TC32LX70 LCD TV (panasonic) but when I play dvds it says that the input from the dvd player is 480i. Shouldn't it be 480p? If so, how can I change it?

Most players have a "switch" somewhere in the menu to turn progressive scan "on" or "off", so check your User Manual and try to find where this switch is.
