Aftering reading through these forums it seems that an upconverting DVD player is the way to go. I also want the DVR fuctionality, so has anyone seen an upconverting DVR with say 160g hard drive? I have found plenty of progressive scan DVRs but non that upconverts. Thanks. pclark24

I don't think there would be a market for such a thing. The best idea would be to buy a HD capable DVR so that upconverting wouldn't be necessary.
