Default Denon DVD-557

I just bought the Denon DVD-557 dvd player to go with my sony KDS-R60xbr1 and the picture is outstanding compared to my old Toshiba4800(think thats the model#). Best 160 bucks i spent... well 260 with the HDMI cable..damn cable prices. Don't know the price's of the other 2 you are thinking of but for a buget minded buy I don't think you will go wrong with this player

You spent $100 on an HDMI cable????!!!!!!! Don't you read enough of this forum that you don't need to spend over $15 to get a decent cable? My advice, take the cable back and order one from monoprice.com. They have good HDMI cables for uner $10.

You don't need to receive any email. You can go to their website under 'support' and download the latest firmware (yes, the latest gives you everything) and burn it to a CD. You need to have software that will save the file in an ISO format first.
