Default Harmony Database??

I apologize in advance if this is somewhere else, but I've searched the posts and the web, and can't find this.

Does anyone know if there is a viewable list of the Harmony remote Database? Before I shell out that kind of money for a remote control, I would like to make sure that it's going to work with my equipment. Even if they do look highly sexy, a sexy brick is still a brick.

Thanks!!

Check their site and see if you can "test drive" the software. When I bought mine ~1 year ago, you could go through the steps and pick your components. That will let you know if your model component is available. Even if it's not, you can enter the model # and it will find a close match. My VCR wasn't in their database, but I entered the model number in and it worked fine.

EDIT:

YOu can download the software here (it's the same software for all remotes):

Thanks, I'll try that when I get home! I don't have admin rights here at work so unfortunately, it'll have to wait til then.

Thanks again!

And besides, all Harmony remotes have a learn function so that your equipment works.

Well, I downloaded the software, but it makes you connect a remote prior to letting you select any components. I guess maybe I'll just take the plunge and buy this somewhere I can easily return it if for some reason it doesn't work.

It will work.

They've pretty much perfected these things over the last few years.

There's codes for almost EVERYTHING.

Even some of my old off-brand components were no problem at all.
