Default Harmony remote+Nyko adapter+PS3 problem

for some reason when I switch activities from ps3 to something else, or back to the PS3 it presses start or "X" or something that launches movies or whatever it is on.

anyone know how to stop this?

You have the PS3 set up to auto start any disc in it. I love this feature as it helps make it act more like a regular BD player rather than going through menus.

Unless I'm reading wrong, sounds like you have an extra command in the harmony software. It's possible that you have the harmony set up to turn off devices that are not in use. Problem is, you may not have the power off sequence quite right on the harmony. So when you switch to another activity it tries to turn off the PS3, but doesn't. Then when you switch back, it assumes the PS3 is off and it tries to turn it on. The easiest way to turn on the PS3 is to press a command on the BT remote, some programmers choose the X button. So it might be hitting the X button to turn on the PS3, but the PS3 is already on.

Problem is, I don't know why that would happen with the Nykko because the Nykko command scheme doesn't have a power on set-up since the Nykko can't turn the PS3 on.

That's about all I can offer without looking at your Harmony programming.
