Green shadows, green sky, blue grass. A week ago I replaced the color wheel on my Samsung 5063W purchased in 09/04 and got the picture restored but the colors were miserably askew. The normal fix is to remove the jumper below a white and yellow sticker or on the DMD near the CN810 marking. However, I fear my set was manufactured before Samsung resolved the high failure rate for color wheels and resulting color problems. My optical engine has no yellow and white sticker and no jumper lies anywhere near the CN810 mark behind the heat sink. On the User Menu, the slider bar for Blue is displayed in green while the slider bar for Green is displayed in blue. Desperate, I entered Service Mode, wrote all values for every entry for all 10 displays from DDP1011 to OPTIONS, accessed Service Mode No 8, CCA, and entered the codes accompanying my color wheel and went to Service Mode No 2, GM1601, and experimented extensively with the RGB_Gains and their corresponding RBG_Offset2. Finally, I experimented with D-Red-X adjustment and all the others (green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow and white) only to retain green shadows, green skies, green water, blue grass and deeply red faces, all for the want of a little jumper. I only have 1 bullet left either for the TV or me and am seriously considering sharing it with the TV along with a few mighty blows from a hammer. Who else has suffered this fate and what remedy was discovered apart from a shot directly into the bull’s-eye hanging over the screen?

I am including a link to replacing the Sammy color wheel for older dlp tvs. As you don't mention your exact model, I'm guessing it includes yours. If you've already seen it, OK. If not, it is first a description of what to do, then a very large list of posts of people who have done it, problems and solutions. So hopefully, you find your answer before destroying a poor old Sammy.......
