I'm new to the forum of course. I was searching for answers to the below problem and thank GOD this forum popped up.

I purchased this big screen little over 5 years ago. All of a sudden, last night the picture goes out. I still have sound, can change the channels, powers on and off just fine. Just no picture.

This of course is the worst time for this to happen being so close to xmas. My budget just can't afford another suprise, lol.

Have any idea what is going on or may have happened.

Thanks in advance!

It could be anything. Due to that rapidly aging technology and the high cost of repair, I would recommend you save to get a new display panel, preferably plasma.

Welcome to the forum!

You could try unplugging this for a day (long period to leave unplugged for a CRT because of held charge), then see if that solves the problem. It is a long shot, but who knows? You might get lucky.

Good luck!
