Default Similar Samsung Lip Sink problem

I have recently bought the Samsung Plasma - PS50P4H with the digital set top box - Samsung DTB550P. My issue is i get lipsink when i use the foxtel, if i use the settop box it is ok and DVD's are fine also.
I am using a monster scart lead from the foxtel, directly to the TV, then the TV monitor output the a JVC RX-F10S AV unit, DVD has a monster cable. You i can not only see the lipsink problem but if i turn the speaker which is attached to the TV you can here the delay.
All the cables except the TV to AV unit are monster cables i have have changed the TV to AV cable but with no joy and have been asured that is wouldnt be the cable.
I spoke with Samsung who said that they would expect the JVC AV box to have sound delay input setting????

Has anyone ever had this problem or know a way round it before the plasma goes back!

Default no problems for this new HLR5067W owner

Hi All,

Great forum. I have had a new Samsung HLR5067W set-up at my house now for about a week. No lip synch issues at all, even with X-bix games. Maybe I am just lucky. Below is how I am set-up and what I have in case anyone can benefit.

HD TIVO (DirecTV) to 5067w via HDMI; Optical audio from HD Tivo into Onkyo SR701 Optical input 1

Samsung 841 DVD player to Onkyo via Component cables; Optical out from DVD to Onkyo Optical 2

X-Box to Onkyo via Component Cables; Onkyo switches Component Video to 5067 from DVD or X-Box, depending on Audio Input selected on Onkyo. (so there is Component from my Onkyo to the TV: DVD and X-Box components (2) into Onkyo; Onkyo component (1) out to TV)

It all looks great, and I could not be more pleased with my choice.

Steven
