I sent an email to pds318(at)frontier(dot)com about two weeks ago asking for instructions to fix the blinking light of death problem, but I havent gotten a reply.

Does anyone else in this forum have a copy of the instructions that will be able to email it to me. Ronson (dot) Nguyen (at) gmail (dot) com. Thanks.

Mitsubishi has a bulletin that came out last year in 2012 for that problem. If replacing the capacitors on the DM power board don't fix it. Then they suggest replacing the 3 Eproms on the E2P board. The part numbers are 275P657050 (IC54Z3, IC54Z1) and one of the 270P880010 (IC54Z4) this is for the WS-55511 or the V21 and V23 chassis. Good Luck!!!

Default DM Board WS series

I also found that the DM board to sometimes have bad solder connections. I had one that would start working if i put a hair dryer to the main DM board.

Unhappy I have two Mitsubishi dlp tvs out in one week!

I have an old wd-62725 that I have already replaced the caps on once and as compensation from Mitsubishi, they offered to sell me a new one at cost. Last week the old one just stopped working and when you push the on button, nothing happens, no green light, no red light, no yellow light, no click, nothing. Two nights ago, we had a thunderstorm, and the next morning, cable boxes frozen but rebooted fine, and the tv worked fine for about an hour, then later that morning, the sound was on, but no tv, then nothing, no green light etc. I changed the bulbs on both, the newer one that may have been messed up by lightening, worked fine for about 5 - 10 minutes then started flashing like a strobe light and the colors got all messed up. Turned it off and when turned back on the same thing, works fine for while, then goes to flashing and the colors get all distorted. Now the old one didn't do anything when I changed the bulb, like it is not getting any power at all, and yes I did check multiple times. The newer one is a wd 60738. Any thoughts?
