I purchased a 57" 16:9 HD ready Sony Tv from OneCall.com
I found them while searching for online dealers, and they quoted me a price on the make and model I wanted. Thier price came out to a little over $500.00 less than I would have paid, had I gone with a local retailer on the same tv. I saved about $250.00 on the price of the tv, and another $250 in state tax and the delivery fee! OneCall delivered my tv in about 3 to 5 days as promised. Their policy was to deliver the tv to your door only, you have to bring it inside your home, and unpack it. I tipped the driver $20 bucks and he used a pallet jack to bring the tv into my front door, and slid it into my living room. I was happy to do the unpacking and setup. I have had the set around 2+ years now, no problems! Would do business again.

It appears that my spam filter was blocking their replies. I ordered a Samsung HLR 4667W on Weds, July 6th and got an on-line receipt instantly. $1857 including shipping. An e-mail from the trucking company the next day told me it was picked up. Trucking firm called Mon the 11th and scheduled delivery for Weds, the 13th. The set arrived on time and in perfect condition. I was charged for curbside delivery but the guy put it on a dolly and brought it in without being asked. The site said 5-10 business days for shipping but the trucking companies confirmation showed 3-5 business days. Not often you get more than what you pay for. Couldn't have been a better experience and the price was the lowest. People will complain that there is no phone# to Digital1234 and they are almost right. When you get your shipping e-mail you get the 1-800 # to digital1234 with it for customer service. I'm a believer.

Got a Sammy DLP and stand through Digital1234. I was wary, but it ended up going smoothly and I am very happy. Prompt confirmation of purchase and delivery was on time. Good price on extended warranty too. Recommended.

We purchased a brand new in box 60" Sony Grand Wega KDF-60WF655 on-line for $2,327.77 from Electrinics Expo in NJ on 7/6/05. I am pretty sure we got one of the last at this price. But stores advertise prices as low as 2299 or less for the same set. EE in NJ has a "brick and mortar store," and on-line buying. The shipping with Seko was only $150 to my door from NJ to MA. The 60" Sony HDTV was delivered, and carried into our house on 7/13/05. The exact same 60" Sony model is selling right now at CC, Sears for $3,599 to 3,699. We used AmEx CC so the factory warranty is doubled to 2 years for free. We are now looking for a extended plan. The box was/is perfect on delivery. I paid the guys $20 each to take it out of the box and put it on my new 58' $208 CC TV stand. The set is being hooked up this week so I will post a follow-up. I was going to drive to NY to buy the very same set. People you can save money by using Streetprices.com and bottomdollar.com price search engines. I always try to find a store that has a walk in brick store so I can go there to pick up my purchases. This time the low price and the lower shipping fee made this offer just too good to pass up. That's a great deal! Sears and CC, among others, keep milking these displays for Jan. 05 prices. It must be paying off for them.
Enjoy your display, you got a good one!

Ok...Onecall is great. I called on monday, and it was delivered on Friday. Total price 2799.73. I've been searching for an LCD for atleast 3 months. Went to Circuit City, Bestbuy atleast 20 times and looked at every TV model in showroom. Narrowed it down to either Samsung DLP or Sony. Didn't like the gray sony vega's and waited for the release of the new Sonys which started with the 55 and 60 inches. I was really looking for a 46 to 50. Checked on Onecall and saw the KDFE55A20 for 2999.00. Went to Circuit City which also had it at same price. Finally, I called Monday and they had a special for 2799.73 delivered. I jumped on it right away and just waited. Freight company called me on thursday and delivered it the next day. I will recommend Onecall.com to anybody. The saving u can't beat.....

Just got a Sony LCD 32KVM1 from lcdtvs.com. They were fast and actually had it in stock. The box did have some damage but everything seemed fine on the inside.

A few months ago I took advantage of Best Buys 24 months no interest, no down payment, no financing charges deal and bought a Mitsubishi 55 HDTV and a Sony Dolby surround/DVD/CD/tuner sys. I am no fool and realize that if it is not paid off or if I miss a payment or pay less than minimum monthly payment I will get whacked with all the interest, but I spent $2300 total and send them $100 a month, so I feel I have it covered, why not use their money ? I hooked it up to a Comcast HD/DVR box and it is awesome! The bass is awesome and the picture is unbelievable! I try to explain it to some friends who do not have HD and it is impossible to do, they simply have to see it. I had the HD box connected with a component r/g/b cable and just changed to DVI (A/V Pure) cable and see a real big diff. Also just got a Sony DV-3100 touch screen universal remote and am still programing it but got most of the basic stuff done and it is cool. Overall really happy with Best Buy, did everything online and never had a single problem, it took 5 days and was delivered and put in my living room perfectly, next day Comcast came and I have been awed ever since.Take advantage of those deals while they're out there ! Tweeter has a Mitsubishi DLP 62 from $3900 to $2400 with no interest or payments til Jan. 07! Great deal!

Just received my JVC HD52G886 from BuyDig.com. It took 6 business days from order to delivery from NJ to AZ. Shipping was free and in-house service so I could inspect the TV before signing for shipment.
Would definitely use them again. |

I used onecall.com to buy my 60inch Sony (KDF-60WF655). I called them Thursday evening and it was in my family room by Wednesday morning. They even called me a week later to see if I was satisfied with everything. Plus when you call them a real live person actually answers the phone. They are also an authorized Sony internet dealer which I guess matters for the warranty. Not to mention they sold it to me for $2800 with shipping! A far cry from Circuit City's 3500 plus tax.

Sorry, after much research and debate, I decided against buying online. Read why here:
Best deal on Samsung HLR6167W I have to value the opinion of the local Authorized Service Technician the most. He had nothing to gain from the advice that he gave me. He does not sell any TV's at all, nor sell any warranties. |

Whether you buy online or in the store, it's all a matter of doing your homework.
No research, then you gamble. I've heard enough stories about folks screwed in showrooms as on the internet. And just as many success stories. I would always look to support my local businesses first. I was riding the fence. Bought mine at an excellent retailer, but out of town. I agreed to drop by the warehouse so they could get it in my SUV, and drive it home 150 miles. After I pointed out to the dealer I could go with a local store, or get white glove shipping if I bought it on the internet, he gave me an offer I could not refuse. (I'm sure being a prior customer helped also.) Everybody has to work their own deal.
