Default Buying a new tv - advice.

I currently have a 51" RCA HDTV, unknown model, got it from a friend, its a *decent* tv I guess, but when I watch anything in HD, or turn my xbox 360 onto HD the overscan is so awful, I think I lose like 10% or MORE of the picture,

Im looking into the samsung dlp 42" and 46" models, Does anyone know if those have overscan issues?
I cant stand losing any of the picture.
