Default Problem with Hitachi 50V500 Lamp

Hey everyone. Hope you're all having a good night. Unfortunately, again there is a problem with the 50V500.

My lamp went out. At least I'm assuming it was my lamp. The lamp light was illuminated. Anyway, I bought a new lamp, went to install it and the power wouldn't turn on. The lamp light just keeps flashing. The directions also said if the lamp cover wasn't securely tightened that it wouldn't power on. I'm almost positive I've done everything correct. I mean, it seems pretty simple. But who the hell knows? Anyone have ideas on what the problem is.

Thanks for your help
