I have had this TV since september and have been Extremley pleased. It is by far THE best LCD RP tv on the market. I have heard people bash this TV for the SDE but I dont see it on mine at the proper viewing distance. I am a little upset about the remote not sinking to my Samsung HD T360 HD reciever. When I program it like the books says, the arrow keys on the remote will not work. Plus, the select button in the middle of thr arrows will not work. The only thing that works is the roll channel button. I called Hitachi, they dont have a fix for it. Hate to spend another $80 on a comparable universal remote. Anyine else have problems like this? Plus, the Samsing remote is complete garbage!!!

What's the proper viewing distance for the 50VS810?
Where did you get it, and how much did you pay? What was included (if anything)? Thanks. Quote:

Got it at Circuit City. Listed for $3999, but got it for $3599 after talking to the manager. I sit 8-10 feet away and it looks great. Not sure how the formula for distance to screen size goes.I guess now they have a 70 Inch one out...Crazy. If i had a bigger house/budget it would be MINE.....
