Default Screen Wobbles at top of Toshiba Rear Projection

Wobbles at top of Toshiba 42 Inch rear projection Televison Recent development on Toshiba.Dealer not sympathetic.I was referred to a Kingston,Ont. televison repair shop who never made any attempt to view the picture.Set is off warranty.I bought the set in Belleville.Ontariowhich is about an hour run from Kingston. What is causing the problem?Ithappens on TV cable and on sat.It's not so bad on DVD.??

(compnent, DVI?)

We need a dab more info please.

By "wobbles" are you refering to geometry problems or is the display itself falling apart?

My guess is you are seeing a skew on the top part of the screen.

Toshiba's convergence/ geometry are input specific. Hence the DVD input is simply set up better than the cable/sat input.

Without actually seeing it (a picture posted by you would help alot) I hesitate to go much further.
